My all time favorite artist is Mariah Carey.
I love her voice, and the words of her songs seem to speak what my heart feels but I can't say.
I hold great sorrow in my heart. More than most people know. Those that are very close to me know the depth of my losses and how greatly they affect me, although I try and pretend they do not.
Mariah helps me to grieve, allows me to smile, and helps me to feel as if life does go on just by singing her heart out.
My wish for everyone is that they find something that enables them to express their emotions, even if it is in the quiet of the night when no one else is around.
